TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Five people are in the hospital Thursday morning with serious injuries. They are victims of a two-car crash late Wednesday night at a busy Tucson crossroad.
In a news release, Captain Barrett Baker with TFD said that the roof of one car had to be cut off with the "jaws of life" to reach some of the victims. The cars slammed into each other at just after 10 p.m. Wednesday night near the intersection of Kolb and Stella roads.
Investigators from TPD are still piecing together what led up to the accident. There is no word yet on the names or conditions of the victims.
