MESA, Ariz. (AP) - A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting four ROTC students at Mesa High School.
Mesa police say 25-year-old Ceaser Ruben Meraz was taken into custody Wednesday night.
They say he's a former Mesa High student who allegedly walked onto the campus about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday and assaulted the ROTC students and then left.
Police say the students were seriously injured.
They say Meraz admitted to assaulting the students because he "felt like getting into a fight."
Police didn't immediately know if Meraz has an attorney yet.
