ESPN's Andy Katz: UA vs. ASU will be one of the better matchups in this rivarly
Reporter: Jason Barr, Sports Director
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) As the Arizona Wildcat basketball teams gets set to travel to Arizona State this Saturday, ESPN college basketball analyst Andy Katz was a guest on "Happy Hour with Jody Oehler" on ESPN Tucson 1490 am and 104.9 fm.
Katz said, "I think it's going to be one of the better matchups we see in this rivarly because Arizona State has one of the best point guards in the nation in Jahii Carson. It'll be an intereting matchup with an Arizona team that has final four potential."
The 7th ranked Wildcats have a record of 15-1 (3-1 in Pac-12.) Arizona State is 14-3 (3-1 in Pac-12.) The Sun Devils are much improved over last season's 10-21 record.
Katz went on to say, "Arizona has a little of everything. They're in a conference right now that is decent but not great. They'll be challenged as they were last week in Eugene and they'll be ready for a run in March."
Katz has been with ESPN since 2000.
