“We know, after having my task force dealing on all of this, that people will be able to get responded to so much quicker and that we can get in front of the eight ball and not behind the eight ball,” Brewer said.
Many parents have told 9 On Your Side that budget cuts have left them unable to see their kids who are in CPS custody.
Gov. Brewer says that hiring 200 CPS staff members will help the agency.
Additionally, the governor wants to streamline the way CPS conducts business.
