TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose friend told deputies she committed suicide.
Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 they received a 911 call Friday night from a man who said his son was in his home with a dead woman.
Deputies responded to the 3900 block of North Four Winds Drive and found 37-year-old Katherine Lemburg dead in the home.
Detectives spoke with her friend, 47-year-old Tyler Gunn, who told them he and Lemburg had gone to Redington Pass where Gunn participated in Lemburg's suicide.
Gunn then put the woman in his car and drove her back to his parent's house where he put her in a bedroom.
Investigators have not yet verified Gunn's version of events.
Gunn was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on one charge of Second Degree Murder.
