Victim involved in vehicle-pedestrian accident dies

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A pedestrian involved in a serious motor vehicle collision on Monday, Jan. 7 succumbed to his injuries. Oscar Rodriguez, 21, was pronounced dead late in the afternoon of Jan. 10.
Next of kin have been notified.
In a news release, Sgt. Maria Hawke said that the driver of the van who hit Rodriguez remained at the scene and participated with the investigation. The Traffic Investigations Unit detectives responded to assist with the investigation and collect roadway evidence at the scene.
