TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Glenn Street at Magnolia Avenue is closed for repairs after a 30'' reclaimed water line failed.
Fernando Molina, a spokesman with Tucson Water tells KGUN9 that the closure is on Glenn Street between Craycroft and Swan Roads.
The eastbound lane on Glenn is open, but the westbound lane between Cloverland and Sherry Avenues is closed.
The reason for the water line failure is unknown, but a sinkhole has also appeared about three feet wide and 18 inches deep. Tucson Water and contractor crews are on site.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and taken alternate routes. Drinking water in the area is not affected.
Repairs could take two weeks.
