Man robs downtown bank

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man wearing a trench coat robbed a downtown bank Thursday afternoon.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that the man entered the National Bank of Arizona at 136 N. Stone Ave. at 12:34 p.m.

He gave the teller a note demanding money and threatening harm. He left southbound on foot.

He is described as a Hispanic male in his 50s, between 4'10'' and 5 foot tall with scruffy hair.

He was wearing a long green trench coat, a vest under his jacket, sunglasses, black gloves and a dark beanie.
