TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire crews responded to an eastside park Wednesday night after the building near the swimming pool caught fire.
Capt. Barrett Baker with TFD told KGUN9 that the park is at 2001 S. Avenida Del Sol, near Kolb and 22nd.
In a news release, Baker said the first TFD unit arrived within five minutes after being dispatched. A total of eight units and 21 firefighters responded to the scene and controlled the fire within 12 minutes.
The cause of the fire was determined as accidental and due to combustible material being too close to the boiler in the boiler room. The total in damages is yet to be estimated.
