TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Ka'Deem Carey will appear in City Court later this week to face multiple charges stemming from a domestic violence dispute that occurred on Dec. 23, according to Sgt. Chris widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
In a restraining order that was issued against Carey, it says Carey entered a room to obtain a lighter to use illegal substances. When the plaintiff, Carey's ex-girlfriend Marissa Rambow, asked Carey to leave the room, he pushed hs way in and knocked her to the floor, according to a written statement by Rambow.
"It's a domestic violence incident and we are taking it seriously, in this case it's minor injuries, but with any domestic violence we take it seriously because of the possibility of it escalating," said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a spokesperson with the Tucson Police Department.
In a separate restraining order issued by Carey against Rambow, Carey wrote that Rambow was putting hands on him and threatening to harm his football career.
