Wreck closes westbound I-10 north of Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Westbound traffic on Interstate 10 south of the Phoenix area is being delayed and detoured because of a serious accident involving 2 tractor-trailer rigs.
The accident occurred Friday morning north of Casa Grande, and authorities are advising Phoenix-bound motorists to expect serious delays and to consider alternative routes.
The department says there's no estimate when I-10's westbound lanes will reopen.
A detour takes drivers off westbound I-10 north of Casa Grande at State Route 387. Drivers can take Route 387 to State Route 87. That will take them to the Phoenix area via Chandler and Sun Lakes.
