Overcrowding closes highway to Mt. Lemmon

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department closed the highway to Mt. Lemmon Tuesday, but not because of weather.
The highway is closed because of overcrowding.
Recent storms have blanketed the mountain in snow, and the highway was reopened this morning after conditions improved.
No word yet on when the highway will reopen.
