Arizona softball's leading home run hitter leaves program

TUCSON (Arizona Athletics) University of Arizona head softball coach Mike Candrea today announced that Shelby Pendley has left the program for personal reasons.
"We wish Shelby Pendley the best moving forward," said Candrea.
Pendley led the team in home runs (19) as a freshman in 2012 while batting .331 with 55 RBI. The Rio Rancho, N.M., native started 57 games at shortstop for Arizona.
