Deputies catch liquor thieves outside grocery store

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Four people were arrested Friday night after stealing several bottles of expensive liquor from the Safeway grocery store in the 4700 block of East Sunrise Road.
Deputy Monica Torralba with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that three men and one woman tried to steal liquor from the store, but deputies saw the vehicle they left in and were able to stop them.
Two of the suspects have outstanding warrants, says Torralba, and they may also have been involved in another liquor theft from a different Safeway location.
The incident happened shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.
