TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police found the man who went missing Friday and he was safely returned home.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with TPD tells KGUN9 that Joseph Guaragna, 44, was last seen near east 5th Street and north Tucson Blvd. at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers confirmed that he is in good health and was taken home to his family.
Hawke tells KGUN9 that Guaragna lives at a home in the 3200 block of north Kelvin Blvd and he has been diagnosed with a mental disorder that causes him to occasionally act inappropriately around other persons.
Hawke says he also has a mental deficiency that causes him to behave as if he was significantly younger than his actual age. His behavior and mental state are described as being similar to that of a small child.
