Border Patrol investigating deadly shooting

SASABE, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Sector Border Patrol has confirmed the death of an illegal alien following an altercation with an agent on Sunday near Sasabe.
Border Patrol released the following statement regarding the shooting:
"At 12:25 p.m. MST Sunday, a Border Patrol agent on patrol approximately 12 miles northwest of the Sasabe, Ariz., port of entry encountered an unknown number of individuals who had crossed the border illegally. During the encounter, the agent discharged his service issued weapon, resulting in the death of one of the individuals. Agents apprehended six other individuals. CBP is fully cooperating with tribal and FBI investigators."
