Gas meter struck, crews evacuated homes

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews responding to damaged gas meter on the westside.
Northwest Fire crews are responding to 4084 N Tuttle Avenue, near Roger Road and Romero Road for a gas line that was struck around 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to Adam Goldberg with the Northwest Fire Department.
Goldberg tells KGUN9 that six homes have been evacuated, but no injuries have been reported.
Tuttle Avenue and Palm Grove Road will remain restricted to motorists until the situation is under control, according to Goldberg.
