CORONA DE TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - When it comes to lighting up the Christmas season, it's usually Winterhaven that steals the show. But in Corona de Tucson one man is putting on a show of his own.
"I saw that video and I just couldn't get it out of my head," Daniel Lumbarkovski said.
The video he's talking about is "Gangnam Style" by Korean pop star Psy. It's a song that's swept the world. It's now playing at neighborhood near you. Lumbarkovski synced the song to his Christmas lights outside his house.
"It's a lot more lights this year than last year," he said. "It's completely synced to music. Everyone who comes by stays for Gangnam style."
The neighborhood kids crowd around the house and watch the 18-minute show from start to finish. It's as big deal for a man whose wife once told him to be more enthusiastic for Christmas.
So how's this for enthusiasm: a light show miles away from Winterhaven that captures the attention of anyone who drives or walks by.
"It's just something that gets me excited about Christmas and I like seeing everyone's reaction," he said.
Lumbarkovski will have the lights on Monday thru Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. On the weekends, he'll keep the show going until 9:30 p.m.
