TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Officers responded to the 400 block of West Nevada, near Irvington Road and 12th Avenue, to investigate a possible murder.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that at about 3:20, a man called 911 after he went to check on his friend and found him unresponsive.
The man could see through the window of the home that the man was underneath a blanket and not moving.
Police arrived and had to force their entry into the home, where they determined that the man was dead.
The man had obvious signs of trauma and police say there was no forced entry into the home. All the doors and windows were locked.
The investigation is ongoing.
