TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies need the public's help finding a man who robbed a Quik Mart the day before Thanksgiving wearing a red "Arizona" baseball hat.
Deputy Renee Carlson with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that deputies responded to 900 W. Roger Road at about 2:35 a.m. on November 21 to reports of an armed robbery.
Deputies learned that the suspect walked up to the clerk who was outside the store at the time, and forced him back inside the store.
The robber implied that he had a weapon and demanded that the clerk empty the cash register and give him cigarettes.
The man made several threats to the clerk before leaving and heading northeast from the store.
He is described as about 5'9'' with a thin build. He was wearing a gray or green shirt, faded blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a red baseball hat with "Arizona" written on it.
If anyone can identify the robber, deputies ask that you call 911 or 88-CRIME.
