TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Attorney's Office plans to seek the death penalty for a mother accused of killing her two children in August.
According to a spokeswoman with the Pima County Attorney's Office, the notice of intent was filed last week in the case of Perla Morales, who was arrested after her 17-month-old and 4-year-old were shot to death.
Factors that are taken into consideration when seeking the death penalty are the age of the victims, and the circumstances of the murder.
