Web Producer: Rikki Mitchell
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Congressman Ron Barber is in Tucson this week recovering from minor surgery he received Monday.
His office sent out a release saying that he will not go to Washington for votes this week in order to recover, after having a cancerous tumor removed from his tongue.
His office says that he is expected to make a full recovery and learned about the tumor on November 13.
The surgery was minor and he is at home and "feeling good."
