TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A bicyclist died last week after being hit by a car on October 10.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that Randall Meneses, 56, was riding eastbound on East Glenn about to turn left onto First Avenue.
A four door sedan also in the left turn lane behind Meneses hit him with the front of her car while both of them were turning.
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police. She was later cited for a civil traffic violation.
Emergency personnel took Meneses to the hospital but believed his injuries to be minor.
He had complications related to his injuries and later died on November 14.
Police say Meneses was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
