Wildcats running back Ka'Deem Carey leads the nation in rushing
Carey rushed for 204 yards on 26 carries with one touchdown. He averaged 7.8 yards per carry with a long of 28. He also hauled in two catches for eight yards. In eight of 11 games played in 2012, Carey has recorded 115 yards or more and he has scored a touchdown in all but one game.
The reigning Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, Carey rushed for 200+ yards in back-to-back games with 204 at Utah and 366 vs. Colorado on Nov. 10. He now leads the nation in total rushing yards with 1,585 and in yards per game with an average of 144.09. He has 19 rushing touchdowns and one receiving.
The Wildcats will wrap the regular season and host the Sun Devils of ASU in the Territorial Cup on Fri., Nov. 23. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. MT and the game will air nationally on ESPN.
