UPDATE: Missing vulnerable adult returns home

  • Tim "Rex" Wik went missing Friday, Nov. 9 from his assisted living complex. He is diabetic and prone to getting disoriented and confused easily. He returned to his home on his own early Saturday morning.

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 55-year-old diabetic man who went missing Friday afternoon has returned to the assisted living home where he is a resident. 
 
Tim "rex" Wik was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Friday by staff members at his assisted living apartment complex, which is located in the 5300 block of east 1st Street, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department. 
 
Wik is diabetic and gets disoriented and confused easily, prompting police to seek the public's assistance in locating Wik as quickly as possible. 
 
Widmer tells KGUN9 that Wik returned to his residence on his own early Saturday morning and he was found to be in good condition.
