Bus route changes, road closures on holiday weekend

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Veteran’s Day weekend brings road closures and some route changes for Sun Tran, Sun Express and Sun Shuttle.
According to a news release, Sun Tran will provide regular Sunday and Monday shuttle service. Sun Express and Sun Shuttle will run their regular routes on Monday, Nov. 12.
On Monday, Sun Tran’s Route 3 will take a detour to accommodate the Veteran’s Day Parade from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and all stops will be suspended from Granada Avenue. Sun Tran’s Route 7 buses will also be unable to pick up passengers from the bus stop on Church, south of Broadway. Ronstadt Transit Center will be the alternative pick-up for Route 3 and Route 7. Routes 16, 101X and 108X will have downtown detours, but will not miss any bus stops.
For more information about alternate boarding locations, contact Sun Tran’s Customer Service Center at (520) 792-9222. They are open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
