SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say the case of a man and woman found dead in a Scottsdale home has been ruled a murder-suicide.
KPHO-TV reports that Scottsdale police say 58-year-old Daniel Peralta shot and killed his 52-year-old wife, Laura, while she slept, then turned the gun on himself Wednesday morning.
A police spokesman said the couple had argued the evening before.
Police said there had been no previous reports of domestic violence in the household.
Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark says the Peraltas' adult son was living at the house and said he was awakened by two gunshots before finding the bodies of his parents in their home.
