Giffords and Kelly to attend Loughner sentencing

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - ABC News is reporting that Gabrielle Giffords and her husband, Commander Mark Kelly will attend the sentencing of the January 8 gunman Jared Lee Loughner.
ABC news reports that a source close to the couple says Kelly will make a statement in court on behalf of them both.
This will be the first time they see Loughner in person.
Loughner pleaded guilty to the shooting where Giffords was shot in the head and six others were killed.
The sentencing will be Thursday at 10 a.m.
