Pima County landfills, transfer stations closed Nov. 12

PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Landfills and transfer stations operated by the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Division will be closed Monday, Nov. 12 for the Veterans Day holiday.
In a news release, Beth Gorman, senior program manager with the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality, said the closure includes landfills in Sahuarita and Ajo, the Tangerine Landfill, and the Catalina and Ryan Field Transfer Stations.
The Solid Waste Administrative Office, 5301 W. Ina Road, also will be closed on Monday.
