Arizona to hold job fairs for veterans at 11 sites

PHOENIX (KGUN9-TV/AP) - The state is gearing up to hold simultaneous job fairs for military veterans at 11 locations across Arizona next week.
The Department of Economic Security says it's partnering with state, county and local agencies and community groups to hold the "hire our heroes" events on Wednesday.
Sites where job fairs for veterans will be held include Casa Grande, Flagstaff, Gilbert, Kingman, Nogales and Parker.
The other locations are Phoenix, Prescott, Sierra Vista, Tucson and Yuma.
The one in Tucson is next Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DAV on South Wilmot.
There will also be a fair that day in Nogales from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Peter Piper Pizza on North Grand Court Plaza.
