YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say U.S. Border Patrol agents have seized about 437 pounds of marijuana in two separate incidents southwest of Phoenix.

Agents patrolling south of Gila Bend on Wednesday tracked six sets of footprints through the desert. Authorities say they arrested six suspects carrying more than 200 pounds of marijuana worth $101,000. The suspects were arrested and held for prosecution.

The agency says its agents patrolling the same area on Friday arrested four suspects carrying bundles of marijuana, seizing 235 pounds worth about $117,500. The drugs and the suspects were turned over to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
