Mexican woman arrested for hiding pot in car

NACO, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Officers arrested a woman after 38 pounds of marijuana was found hidden in the backseat of her car.
Officials with Customs and Border Protection tell KGUN9 that the woman, a 22-year-old Mexican national, was driving a Dodge Neon through the Naco port of entry when officers noticed that her backseat was unusually hard.
They referred her car for a second inspection where officers found 14 packages of marijuana.
The drugs were worth almost $19,000 and the vehicle was taken by agents.
The woman was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
