Authorities search Glendale cafe in gambling probe

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a search of a Glendale business has turned up evidence of illegal gambling.
The Arizona Department of Gaming announced Monday that authorities have seized more than 40 gambling devices, computers, a vehicle and $940,000 from the Jackpot Cafe.
Authorities say patrons have been playing slot machine games to win cash and that the business ignored an order Friday to cease operations for licensing violations.
A call to the business that has an Internet cafe and amusement center did not go through Monday.
No one has been arrested or charged in the investigation, though two patrons were taken into custody on charges unrelated to the gambling probe.
