TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Patagonia Deputy Marshall Johnny T. Tynes resigned Sunday after he was arrested after a DUI accident.
Tucson Police arrested Tynes on the morning of October 24 for felony criminal damage following that suspected DUI incident.
Sgt. Maria Hawke tells KGUN9 that Tynes ran his vehicle into an electric utility pole, near the area of East 22nd Street and South 4th Avenue.
Tynes was treated for his injuries on the scene.
Hawke said a DUI investigation was conducted after officers noted signs and symptoms of possible intoxication.
