Border patrol seizes 30 pounds of cocaine

SAN LUIZ, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - A Mexican man was arrested for trying to smuggle nearly $300,000 worth of cocaine into the United States.
Nestor Martinez-Noriega, 52, or San Luis, Rio Colorado, Senora, Mexico was selected to undergo a vehicle inspection on Monday, Oct. 22, according to Rob Daniels with the Department of Homeland Security.
Daniels tells KGUN9 that a narcotics detection canine alerted to areas of Noriega's Dodge truck, and upon inspection of those areas, agents discovered 30 pounds of cocaine, an amount that carries a street value of $275,000.
The drugs and vehicle were seized and Noriega was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
