Police seek help identifying robbery trio

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are asking for the help of the public in locating a trio of bank robbery suspects.
Sgt. Maria Hawke tells KGUN9 that on October 13, three males entered the Circle K at 2802 North Stone Avenue. A man walked behind the main cashier counter and began to assault the clerk. The other two men also went behind the main cashier counter. All three began taking numerous cartons of cigarettes from the display case.
A customer that was in the store at the time of the incident attempted to intervene and assist the clerk, says Hawke. Officers were not successful in locating the group of males on the morning of the incident.
Robbery detectives continued their investigation into the robbery and are asking for assistance in identifying the suspects involved.
The suspect that initially began assaulting the clerk is described as an 18 to 22-year-old Hispanic
male, 5'06" to 5'08" tall, weighing 160 - 180 pounds. He was additionally described as having a goatee, carrying a black backpack, and wearing a white t-shirt, an Oakland A's baseball hat, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The second suspect was described as an 18 to 22-year-old Hispanic male, 5'02" to 5'06" tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds. He was also described as having a goatee and wearing a gray shirt, long black shorts, and black shoes.
Lastly, the third subject was described as an 18 to 22-year-old Caucasian male, 6'01" to 6'01" tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He also had a goatee and was wearing a black t-shirt, blue shorts, and black and white shoes.
Anyone with information about the identity of these men is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
