Ariz. couple found dead in home after car crash

BUCKEYE, Ariz. (AP) - A single vehicle crash in Buckeye has led authorities to a couple found stabbed to death in their apartment.
Buckeye police said the early morning Saturday crash occurred after the driver slammed into a wall. The driver, whose name was not released, appeared to have been thrown out of the car during the crash and is expected to survive.
However, authorities say when investigators went to notify the family about the crash, they found two people dead inside the apartment.
Police say the apartment's door was open and blood was found outside.
Authorities are treating the case as a double homicide.
No other information was available.
