TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A local elementary school is on lockdown while deputies search for a missing man.
A Caucasian man driving a tan-colored sedan crashed his vehicle at the intersection of River Road and Craycroft Road early Friday morning, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The man was seen fleeing from the scene on foot and is currently still at large.
Deputies placed Castlehill Country Day School on lockdown while the search is ongoing, according to the school.
The man is described as a white male between the ages of 16 and 20-years-old with dirty-blonde hair.
Peine tells KGUN9 that the man matches the description of someone who burglarized a home in the area near River Road and Craycroft Road.
