TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Two people were indicted for impersonating police officers during the summer.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that Alan Eugene Wilson, 41, and Kristine Wilson, 47, were indicted on five counts of impersonating a peace officer, a class 6 felony.
In June, TPD learned that these two were approaching people and pretending to be police officers.
Detectives impounded their vehicle that they used, and took their law enforcement uniforms and gear.
Since that time, more victims have come forward to report additional incidents.
