Sun Tran offers routes for Tucson Meet Yourself

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Sun Tran is offering multiple routes to “Tucson Meet Yourself” this weekend to help avoid downtown construction.
From Oct. 12 through Oct. 14, the Sun Tran will offer a $1.50 one-way ride to the “Tucson Meet Yourself” event from a variety of locations. Seniors 65 years and older, Medicare cardholders, disabled persons and low-income persons with a SunGO ID & Card will be charged 50 cents for a one-way ticket.
In addition, Church Avenue from Alameda Street to Pennigton Street will be closed to all traffic from October 11 at 6 p.m. to October 14 at midnight.
The Sun Tran routes include:
- Route 1 – Glenn/Swan
- Route 2 – Pueblo Gardens
- Route 3 – 6th Street/Wilmot
- Route 4 – Speedway
- Route 6 – South Park Avenue/North 1st Avenue
- Route 7 – 22nd Street
- Route 8 – Broadway/South 6th Avenue
- Route 9 – Grant
- Route 10 – Flowing Wells
- Route 16 – 12th Avenue/Oracle
- Route 19 – Stone
- Route 21 - West Congress/Silverbell
- Route 22 – Grande
- Route 23 – Mission
