TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A fire in a travel trailer left one man dead in Cochise County on Oct. 11.
Deputies responded to the 2800 block of North Golden Rule Road at approximately 7 p.m, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
One woman and her 25-year-old son were living in the residence.
The body of Andrew Christian was found by deputies inside the burned structure. Christian was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office for a completion of the autopsy.
The trailer was burned to the frame and a barrel marked as a toxic substance was found outside of the residence.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to the scene and determined that there were no toxic substances on premise.
"In recent times we have seen several tragedies occur and this seems to be yet another one, albeit of an accidental nature," Chief Rod Rothrock said. "As always our thoughts and prayers are with those directly affected including the family and friends of Andrew Christian."
