TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A burglary in the foothills was caught on camera by the homeowner's surveillance system.

Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that on September 30, deputies responded to the 600 block of E. Canyon View Dr. in response to an alarm call.

Deputies met the homeowner on arrival and determined that someone had broken into the home, gone through belonging, but did not take anything.

The homeowner then told deputies about surveillance camera footage and gave it to the responding deputies.

The video showed a man and woman approaching the home, but then the camera is disconnected.

The footage shows the two suspects driving up to the home in a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Deputies later learned that that vehicle was stolen in a separate incident.

Anyone with information on these individuals is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
