Maricopa County voter registration deadline nears

PHOENIX (AP) - Voters in Maricopa County have until Tuesday at midnight to register for the Nov. 6 general election.
Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell says registration forms, if mailed, must be post marked no later than midnight. She says registration forms may also be filled out and dropped off at some valley wide locations.
She said any registration forms received after midnight will not be accepted for the 2012 general election.
Citizens may go to the County Recorder's website www.recorder.maricopa.gov or servicearizona.com, for questions on registration requirements and how to register online.
