Ryan Williams out for the season

TEMPE (AP) Arizona Cardinals running back Ryan Williams is out for the season with a shoulder injury, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt announced.
Williams missed all of his 2011 rookie season with a torn patella tendon and will need surgery on his shoulder.
Williams, a second round pick in the 2011 draft out of Virginia Tech, only averaged 2.8 yards a carry in three starts this season.
The Cardinals are down to running backs Beanie Wells and LaRod Stephens-Howling. Wells is currently on injured reserve and won’t return until at least Week 12. Stephens-Howling is dealing with a hip flexor injury and his status for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills is uncertain.
