Shoplifter has beef with security guard

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff needs help locating a beef thief.
Deputy Tom Peine tells KGUN that on September 26, deputies responded to the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2823 West Valencia Road.
Deputies were called to the store concerning a shoplifter who had gotten into a physical
altercation with the store’s security manager.
The security manager told deputies he observed the suspect coming into the store, grabbing a
shopping basket and then walking directly towards the meat department. The man placed $150 worth of beef in his basket and attempted to leave the store without paying, said Peine.
The security manager then confronted the man by the store exit and a brief physical altercation ensued. A vehicle had already pulled up in front of the exit. The driver of the car got out and
assisted the shoplifting suspect. Both man left from the scene in the car.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or with any other information about this case is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
