TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A woman called 911 Sunday after a man came into her home and sexually assaulted her, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Peine tells KGUN9 that deputies responded to the 5300 block of South Tara Lane after a woman told them she woke up with an unknown man in her bedroom.
The man sexually assaulted her and then left her home.
Once the man left, she called 911 and saw the man walking away from her house.
She was able to provide a description to deputies who later found evidence leading them to a nearby home.
They found several people inside the home, and one of them was linked to the assault by evidence.
Deputies arrested Robert Wayne Wilson on charges of sexual assault, second degree burglary and kidnapping.
Further investigation showed that Wilson is a registered sex offender and currently on parole.
