Reporter: Jason Barr; Sports Director
CHICAGO (KGUN9-TV) White Sox reliever Donnie Veal picked up the first save of his career in Monday's series opener against the Indians.
He entered in the ninth inning with one on, two out and a two-run lead and gave up an RBI double to Shin-Soo Choo. Veal was able to get the next batter to groundout, however, to secure the 5-4 win.
Veal has one career win that came back in 2009 when he was with the Pirates.
Veal is from Sierra Vista and pitched at Pima Community College after transferring from the University of Arizona.
