TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire Department responded to two separate fires within 20 minutes of each other involving a fully engulfed shed, and a fire in two electrical outlets.

Capt. Barrett Baker with TFD tells KGUN9 that a home in the 2200 block of South Farwell had a fire coming out of two electrical outlets, one in the kitchen and one near the television.

Crews used a thermal imaging camera to confirm the fire was out and then used high-powered fans to blow out the excess smoke. The cause is still unknown.

The other fire happened within twenty minutes of the electrical fire and involved a shed in the 8600 block of East Colette.

The first units on scene saw that the fire was threatening electrical lines above the shed.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames within two minutes of arriving. There was no one home at the time.

The cause of this fire is also unknown.

Tucson Electric Power responded to the scene and determined that the electrical lines were not compromised.

No firefighters were injured in either incident.
