COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz (KGUN9-TV) - A county-wide Internet outage that affected 911 calls in several southern Arizona cities has been resolved, and 911 calls are no longer being re-routed to other agencies.
Carol Capas with the Cochise County Sheriff's Office tells KGUN9 that the Century-Link related outage made Internet, external email, VPN and some phone services unavailable throughout the county.
All 911 calls in Douglas, Bisbee and Huachuca City were being re-routed to the Sheriff's Office command center, but that portion of the outage has been fixed and 911 calls are back to normal for those police departments, Capas says.
