Weekend marijuana seizures total more than 3,700 pounds

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Border Patrol agents seized more than $1 million worth of marijuana in two separate incidents over the weekend, according to officials with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Border Patrol agents in Casa Grande, Ariz. working with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office found an abandoned vehicle with more than 1,500 pounds of pot, worth an estimated value of almost $850,000.
In another seizure, agents from the Ajo Border Patrol Station used detection technology to find another abandoned vehicle with more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated value of a little more than $1 million.
